In April 2022 I cycled the Slovakian End to End.
Below you can read daily blog posts for the trip, from Záhorská Ves on Day 1 to Nová Sedlica on Day 14 (plus some before and during).
You can also see a map of the route at the bottom of the page.
Záhorská Ves, my start point, is on the western extremity of Slovakia, across the Morava river from Austria.
From there I headed eastwards across the north of the country (with a side-trip to Košice) to the easternmost village of Nová Sedlica, on the border with Ukraine.

The total End to End distance was 432 miles, and took two leisurely weeks of 35–50 miles a day. I rode my folding tourer: a Dahon Speed TR. That allowed me to get to and from Slovakia by very inexpensive trains and buses, avoiding flights. I stayed at cheap hotels and guesthouses.
