Dondra Head to Point Pedro 470 miles
In January 2015 I cycled the Sri Lanka End to End, from Dondra Head in the south to Point Pedro in north.
The End to End route was roughly 470 miles and took a leisurely two weeks at my usual relaxed pace.
But Sri Lanka is not a place to hurry through. There is plenty to stop and see and enjoy: lush landscapes, tea plantations and hill country, friendly people, roadside stalls, colourful towns, temples, cricket… and fiery, fabulous food.
