Route research in the Lakes, round Keswick.

Castlerigg Stone Circle: A 4,500-year-old Cumbrian Stonehenge, with stones so mystically laid, any two of them always lie in a straight line
The approach to Blencathra, also called Saddlebag. Er, Saddleback.
A pint of Singletrack in the Dog and Gun, Keswick: 4%, tangerine-citrus and lightly hoppy. So far, despite the mountain-biking name, things haven’t rapidly gone downhill.
