Canterbury 3: Dungeness coast

Posted on 24 May 20182 April 2021 by Rob Ainsley

More lovely Kentish route research, down to Dungeness’s strange shingle coast and back.

Dungeness, the slightly weird beach village where you meet slightly strange people, such as me.

Lots of woods like this, with delightful dappled sunlight that gives you a whole new perspective, like the one of the road from two inches away when you hit a pothole you couldn’t see because of the damn dappled sunlight.
Typical view of roofs. Or rooves.
Typical view of lane showing typical levels of traffic.
