Nottingham: Tunnels and tramlines

Very enjoyable day of route research in Nottingham. The quirky Park Tunnel, underneath Street-View-invisible, gas-lit Park Estate; the delightful long stretches of bike path by the Trent; the Market Square; and the tram system, roamable on a four-quid day pass.

There was a Jehovah’s Witness stand in the market square, with a large placed saying ‘What Would You Ask God?’. Clearly the answer to this, to judge by the queries of shoppers to the Witnesses, was ‘What time’s the next tram to Hucknall?’
