Stevenage 2: Puddled up

Posted on 7 November 20192 April 2021 by Rob Ainsley

Another very good, if puddly, day researching cycle routes round Stevenage in Bucks, Herts and Beds, which sounds like a dating agency.

Heavy overnight rain had left lots of puddles like this. Ah, that’s Ponding, our traffic engineer friends might say. No, that’s Ayot St Lawrence, we might reply.
Great to meet up with John T in the Hub cafe in Redbourne. Hope you’re back on the bike soon, John.
More fording of mighty puddles – maybe five or six in the course of the day. At least we finished up with clean, glossy black tyres.
