Lincoln 1: The smallest pub

Posted on 3 July 201710 October 2021 by Rob Ainsley

Route research in and around Lincoln for a few days. A fine ride to Cleethorpes today, to the centre of the world, and back.

The famous Historic Cleethorpes Old Town. I’d never heard of it.
Britain’s smallest pub, the Signal Box. It was full, and I was the only person in there.
The Meridian Marker, where mystic East meets developed West. Motto on monument: ‘The world revolves around Cleethorpes’.
The Lincolnshire Wolds are not flat.
