Oxford 1: Cotswolds

Posted on 28 January 20202 April 2021 by Rob Ainsley

Day researching cycle routes west of Oxford. Bright and breezy but cold and wet, and only a little lumpy. But that’s enough about me.

Cotswolds Water Park. Except it’s not supposed to be.
Huffkins Cafe in Burford, a lovely Cotswold town spoilt by too many cars. The cafe’s speciality is Lardy Cake, which did put me in mind of many of the drivers.
Cumnor, a couple of miles outside Oxford. In five years at college there I never got out this far. I’ve got a little more adventurous since then.
