In Ticehurst, I stumbled on one of the most beautiful, quintessentially English, sights I’ve seen so far this trip: a fish and chip van. This bench is where I ate it.By coincidence, just up the road was this, outside a fish shop. See? Some fish DO need bicycles. Popular politics is never quite as simplistic as we’d like to think.
