Czechia End to End

Cheb to Třinec 421 miles

In May 2025 I cycled the Czechia End to End with my regular cycling colleague Nigel.

Below you can read daily blog posts for the trip, from Cheb in the west, on the German border on Day 1, to the eastern tip of the country at Třinec on Day 9.

The total End to End distance was 421 miles, taking up nine days of between fifteen and sixty-odd miles. Illness meant I had to take short train journeys on a couple of days.

I rode my regular Spa Cycles Tourer; Nigel was on his Brompton P12.

I’ll put up a detailed map of the route soon.

Day 1: Cheb to Karlovy Vary
Day 2: Karlovy Vary to Křivoklát
Day 3: Křivoklát to Prague
Day 4: Prague to Kolín
Day 5: Kolín to Kuklík
Day 6: Kuklík to Brno
Day 7: Brno to Olomouc
Day 8: Olomouc to Frýdek-Místek
Day 9: Frýdek-Místek to Třinec
