Land’s End to John o’Groats via Marshall Meadows and Kirkmaiden 1167 miles
In May 2013 I did my third British End to End, but with a twist. This time, I rode the English End to End (Land’s End to Marshall Meadows) followed by the Scottish End to End (Kirkmaiden to John o’Groats).
In between, I rode Dunbar to Stranraer, one of my Rhyming Coast to Coasts.
I did a lot of camping, including some wildcamping in Scotland, but also stayed in the odd hostel or inexpensive hotel.
The bike was my Raleigh Royal Tourer (which I also used for my 2010 Cape Wrath to Dover trip).
